The student repeating one subject. They have moved on to the next semester but must sit one paper again. A system that enrols a student into a whole semester at once cannot hold that, so the office keeps a side list, and the exam entry is checked by hand.
The elective that changes after week two. A student swaps subjects once the timetable settles. Their attendance, marks and timetable need to follow the new subject from the day of the change, not be rewritten back to the start of term.
